At the Australian plant, ARB has made every design and engineering effort to produce a roof rack that is mounted as close to the roof as possible, light and strong, and without the risk of bending due to overloading. Manufactured with aluminum extrusion beams and each beam in a single piece, they are positioned transversely (exerting more rigidity and less possibility of bending), facilitating, in addition, the transport of narrow elements of great length. The entire roof rack is welded and no screws or rivets have been used, except for the corner trims that can be removed for wiring, which, together with a wide range of very low supports (feet), give it a strong and elegant final result.

One of the main features of BASE Rack is the ability to adapt to our needs. The new ARB roof rack is sold as a flat rack and can be easily transformed into a traditional roof rack (with perimeter basket) covering 100% of the roof rack or simply, we can incorporate sections of guardrail depending on the load. The BASE Rack rail system is available to cover the entire frame, 3/4, 1/4 or just the sides. The rails attach quickly and easily to the existing profile around the frame. This allows the owner to customize the roof rack as desired with a complete railing system that installs and uninstalls in just a few minutes. Both the roof rack perimeter profile and the inner beams have a rail designed for mounting the lashing points (rings, straps, hooks, etc.) that will simplify securing the load on the roof rack.
