CRUZ - Manufacturer since 1963 of roof rack, roof rack and accessories

CRUZ is one of the most important manufacturers of roof racks and roof rack in the European market with a complete range of solutions for passenger cars, SUVs and commercial vehicles. Its head office is located in the province of Cordoba (Spain), with a total area of over 12,000 m2.

The efficiency of the procedures and the organization are the basis that allows CRUZ to obtain the certification of the Quality Management System according to ISO 9001: 2015 in all business processes, from product development, production, marketing, logistics, to customer service.

Manufacturing under strict compliance with the most recent EU directives, as well as approvals for specific countries. Since its founding, quality methods, coupled with highly qualified human resources, are one of the most important and essential values for CRUZ new advanced anti-corrosion treatments, based on nanotechnology, guarantee to exceed 1,000 hours in a salt spray chamber. The use of superdurable polymers and paints with anti-slip properties offer maximum resistance to harsh weather conditions. Each new product developed is tested under DIN 75302: 1991. Continued adaptation and improvement of productive processes to processes more respectful with the Environment.

History:

1963: Foundation. Establishment of Antonio Cruz laying the base of the current company, under the name of "Metallic Construction Antonio Cruz Luna".
1963: The manufacture of chairs and furniture for kitchen and catering continues. While increasing efforts to improve the fabrication of roof rack for Seat 600, Renault Daulpine and Renault 4/4.
1966: New designs of roof rack are made with the support of Aeronautical Engineers.
1966: It begins to use the surname Cruz as an identifying mark in the products.
1967: The company starts using stamped aluminum for the manufacture of luggage racks.
1968: The company begins to manufacture roof racks using electro-galvanized steel.
1972: Since this date the efforts are focused on the design and manufacture of luggage racks and they stop producing rest of product ranges.
1973: There is a change in the company name that happens to be Cruzber S.L.
1973: Diversification. Start of the manufacture of cable trays and other electrical materials.
1977: Cruzber S.L. is transformed into an anonymous company, the social denomination remaining unchanged until today.
1987: Technological investment, investment in powder painting installations.
1989: Redesign of the logo used by the company, is the basis of the current logo.
1991: Launching of the roof rack Cross Bici-Rack.
1991: Launching of the first cross-sectional skis made by Cruz PS and PT.
1993: Launch of the top-of-the-line carrier Cruz Serie N.
1995: First ceiling coffers marketed under the brand
1996: Launch of the first cross rack for rear tailgate.
2000: First certification according to ISO 9002 by AENOR.
2002: Completely new headquarters, incorporating innovative production and storage systems.
2002: Divestment in the division of cable trays, which is sold to the multinational Legrand. It seeks to unify and focus efforts in the division of luggage carriers.
2005: New warehouses, reaching more than 7000 m2 in total.
2005: Agreement with Thule Sweden for the distribution in Spain of its products in the automotive channel.
2006: Creation of own export department. The Cross mark is registered in the European Union.
2007: The Cruz brand is registered in Croatia, South Africa, Costa Rica and Morocco.
2008: Launch of the first specific rack for 4 × 4 Cross Safari.
2008: Start of the process of certification of products with seal TÜV Reihnland.
2009: Launching of the Cross Ski-Rack.
2009: From this moment the whole range of tourism is certified by TÜV GS.
2010: Update of the rack for commercial vehicles Cruz Serie N +.
2011: First new generation aluminum luggage rack.
2011: New bus bars for Cruz O-plus.
2012: Launch of new line of cross straps.

2015: Start of the City Crash test of Cross products according to ISO / PAS 11154: 2006.
